Travel is my passion. I love to share my experience and knowledge of cruises, land tours, hotels, airlines, sightseeing, and much more.

​Let's start with the fact that I love being on the water.  My first cruise was in 1971 on the legendary Home Lines vessel, the Oceanic - I still have the menus from that first cruise.  Things have definitely changed since those days.  Fast forward to today and I have been on over 100 cruises ranging in length from an overnight cruise to nowhere (not recommended!) to a sixteen night cruise from Dubai to Athens.  I have cruised nearly all the U.S. based cruise lines and have cruised on the mass market, premium market, and luxury lines.  I am a proponent of the old adage you get what you pay for.

If you want to sail in the comfort of a suite with all of your drinks  included, dine when and where you want, be served gourmet meals and caviar at a moment's notice, and have the staff know who you by name before you even arrive, you are going pay a price for that.   Its not all about price though; it's about the value proposition, something only you can decide.
